1905 house restoration
Traditional flush-fitting multi-pane casements in the original style of the house but with modern performance and guarantees. A front door in a traditional style but with contemporary flair.
Traditional flush-fitting casement windows, double-glazed and factory-finished in white, with chrome ironmongery and 27mm astragal bars. The Frenchay front door is a traditional design for this period of house, made from engineered European redwood, factory-finished in Urbane Grey with chrome door knocker, letterplate and profile knob, along with sandblasted effect glass and etched house number.
Authentic period windows and doors that are sensitive to the character of the house but with a bit of personal flair and with excellent energy-efficiency, sound insulation and security, long maintenance intervals and an expected service life of 60 years.
“We’ve had no problems at all with the installations or the products over all the phases during the past 6 years, and that’s why we keep returning for further work. In conjunction with the other changes in the house, such as a new boiler, the new windows have made a noticeable difference to the warmth; also the sound levels from outside are greatly reduced too.”
