Greenwich Community Centre
Replacement windows that would improve energy-efficiency, yet satisfy the local Conservation Officer, with the installation causing the minimum disruption to this busy, thriving community centre. Some of the windows were exceptionally tall.
Double-glazed, round-headed sliding sash windows, with cords and weights, up to 2.8m high, along with casement windows; all factory-finished in white.
Windows that satisfied the Conservation Officer's requirement to match the traditional appearance of the originals, but with much improved energy-efficiency. Disruption was kept to a minimum by installing the windows in batches over a four-week period as the rooms became available.
